Year Running: 2017/2018
Credit level: F7

Description

This module aims to provide students with a detailed understanding of the principles of biomedical imaging using depth-sectioning modalities using acoustic and optical radiation. The emphasis is on ultrasound and optical coherence tomography, because of their major clinical application, and photoacoustic imaging because of its potential to overcome conventional limits to the depth-penetration of optical imaging in tissues.
